Stressing the Job Hunt

Published by delaplane at 1:36 pm under Career Advice Edit This

Rejection letters are awful, Aren’t they?  Yet, as awful as it is to get a letter, phone call or email indicating that you did not get the job, at least you know you’re making the effort.  That is an important realization to come to!

When I was laid off, I applied for well over twenty jobs before I found one.  Yeah, it was annoying!  Yes, I was stressful!  Yes, I felt defeated at times!  What helped me go on?  I realized my effort was there.  I know too many people who are not even trying to find work, because they do not think any jobs are available.  There ARE jobs out there.  KEEP LOOKING!  Positive thinking is the key.  Best wishes.
